IoE Report Card

Southern California Environmental Report Card

Due to various transitions in personnel, including IoE Director Mary Nichols stepping down to become Chair of the California Air Resources Board, the IoE will not publish a 2007 issue of the Southern California Environmental Report Card. We plan to publish the next issue in Fall 2008.

The Southern California Environmental Report Card is the IoE's signature publication. Each year, it draws on the expertise of UCLA faculty in various disciplines to analyze four issues of environmental concern and grade the performance of government agencies and others in protecting natural resources and public health. Its goal is to present scientific data in a format useful to the general public and to stimulate debate on policies intended to benefit environmental protection.
