Corporate Partners Program
With its Corporate Partners Program UCLA’s Institute of the Environment (IoE) has established a new model for collaboration and communication on environment and sustainability issues - bringing companies together with faculty, researchers and students and other firms in interactive relationships to explore the leading edge of business opportunities in environment and sustainability, corporate environmental performance, successful eco-marketing strategy and wider communication of companies’ environmental commitments and initiatives.
Developed by the IoE’s Center for Corporate Environmental Performance (CCEP) with input from a number of globally recognized leaders in corporate sustainability and “green business” including several companies ranked in the highly competitive Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), the Corporate Partners program draws upon the philosophy that the development and communication of effective environmental practices and products is both good corporate citizenship and good business.
Membership as a Corporate PartnerThrough its Corporate Partners program the IoE offers an unique opportunity for companies and executives interested in environmental innovation and sustainable business to network with each other, and to engage with UCLA’s world-class faculty and students on key sustainability issues, identification and development of business opportunities and forward thinking market strategies. Corporate Partners also have preferential access to environment and sustainability business and policy oriented events and a chance to interact with leaders in the field of environment and sustainability. The highlighting of participating Corporate Partners on the IoE website and in conjunction with various appropriate activities and events will let the world know of your companies commitment and support of environment and sustainability goals. What the Corporate Partners Program supports:
The Institute of the Environment Corporate Partners program is an annual giving program that provides unrestricted funds to support priority needs of the Institute of the Environment as identified by the Institute’s Director, the CCEP and other Center Directors. Focus areas for support include but are not limited to; corporate programs support; support for events, support for faculty, students, and visiting scholars and other needs.
In addition to the Corporate Partners Program there are many ways that companies and individuals can provide independent support for the faculty, students, research and other programs of the UCLA Institute of the Environment.
