Research Interests
I am interested in the evolution and ecology of infectious disease, particularly in wild populations. I am also interested in environmental policy and the dissemination of information between research scientists and policy makers.

Current Research
I am currently working on identifying the frequency and distribution of avian influenza strains in Nearctic-Neotropical migratory birds.
Previous Research
While at the University of Massachusetts, I conducted research on the molecular evolution of antibiotic resistance in enteric bacteria isolated from wild Australian Mammals.
